Ferrari: Will you invest?

Had no idea they were going public. I assume they have filed financial statements? If so, are they profitable?

I suspect the deal will be a hot issue (meaning that the stock will begin trading at a higher price than the price at which the IPO is placed with the buyers to whom the selling syndicate allocates shares) but I would be surprised if it is a good investment long-term. Without significantly increasing production dramatically I do not see how earnings will rise significantly. I am glad Ferrari will not be increasing production dramatically. That leaves the branding strategy. I am not sure that the strategy of greatly expanding the branding of Ferrari to various non-car products will significantly increase profits.

I want a few shares, not as an investment but just for the heck of it since I own the car. To accomplish that I purchased a few shares of Fiat-Chrysler because shareholders of that company will automatically receive shares of Ferrari.
