sounds like i really need to hear Lamm magic someday...particularly their SETs.

If I ever changed my speaker preference to something high efficiency I would get the Lamm SET, probably without bothering to audition anything else.

On an academic level, that makes no sense...you always want to audition, etc...

On an instinctive level...totally get it and with Lamms, agree with you. In fact, I think, if i were looking and an opp to buy 2nd hand but without an audition, i could buy CJ ARTs and Zanden monos without auditioning as well...
