Hi,
After many years with kids, family and home theatre my hifi interest is back. From the time I was in the hifi hobby the only gear I keept was my Thoréns TD147 Jubilee with an Ortofon OM30, with thousends of playing hours.
My digital gear today sounds way much better than the Thoréns. I recently bought a Pro-Ject 9.2 Evolution with an Ortofon 2MBronze but this TT is not much better than my old Thoréns. So I belive I must have even better gears to match my digital gears. So the question is, is worth to update my old Thoréns with a new PU and/or a new tonearm? Is equipped with the standard tonearm. If I remember correct is a TP16 or schould I invest in a better TT?
I have houndreds of vinyl LP's from a 30 year period -70 to the -90.
The Thoréns is a beautiful machine in gold and built in a limited volume.

Thanks!

/Lasse
