Today is hard day for Slovenia. Slavko Avsenik passed away today.

Slavko Avsenik (November 26, 1929 in Begunje near Bled, Slovenia – July 2, 2015) was a Slovenian composer and musician. Beginning in 1953 with the formation of the Brothers Avsenik ensemble, Avsenik produced more than 1,000 songs and enjoyed success both in Slovenia and in other parts of Europe and America, and is viewed as a Slovenian cultural icon.

You must hear polka song Na Golici (German: Trompeten-Echo) It's the most played instrumental tune ever and the second most played in general. His music is amazing and you can get vinyls of Ansambel bratov Avsenik (Slavko Avsenik Und Seine Original Oberkrainer) etc.. I will post some more good songs on this Thread.
