Why no remastering information on high-res downloads? Keep in a fog on purpose?

Because the suits are too busy making money and could care less about provenance. It's a good day if I even get tones on a tape.

Go to the source recording label, and if possible buy there.

These labels are very transparent in how the recordings where made and if a remastenring or conversion has taken place they say so.
