No doubt it will be faster, but the sound and visceral feel will not be the same, nor will the freely revving throttle response climb and fall as a result of turbo spooling resistance. The looks are not as good either compared to the 458, imo. The 458 is the most beautifully designed modern era Ferrari...again imho.

Most defiantly there are differences and in reading your response it really does come down to a personal preference but you should once you have logged in some hours take one for a drive - what track do you go too. Do you go often?

I just came back from driving a Lamborghini Aventador - that was a blast - what a car :D

The Lamborghini is sick looking. McLaren is sweet too. Buy used, they take a big depreciation hit. The track I have most experience is Lime Rock in CT. They have noise restrictions that I know the Fwrrari won't pass unless I go to one of the few unmuffled days they allow. There is also a new track east of me in Mass....Palmer Motorsports Park. It just opened. I may try it later this summer. I am only good for a few track days a year. I don't drive to the limit and just have fun w/o beating the crap out of my car...7/10ths driving for the most part.

Congrats on the new car Christian. It looks awesome.

Thanks Mark. Good to see you posting over here again.

OT: interior pix will follow shortly when the sun is back out. Basically black leather, yellow stitching and carbon fibre interior bits. It's an amazing interior driving experience.

Congratulations, Christian! It's a beauty!

(My 2003 360 Spyder is still my single favorite thing.)
