It's ok, nothing special, it fills the atmosphere...the main goal why I put it on in the first place...the acoustic instruments...the tempos...the Jazz maestros.
This Telarc recording lacks presence, clarity, power. Year is 2000 ... Telarc has never been my favorite record label...in general. The recording engineers are not using the preferred recording methods and microphones used I guess. I'm simply mentioning straight my overall technical quality impression. I still love Jazz, the music is fine, I love the tunes, I love the musicians.

Overall it feels too muted, sound quality wise. But, I'm listening @ low/mid level.

Whoa, that's a good one! Check out also "Throb"" and "Good Vibes", from a few years prior. Very "hip", groovy early 70s electric jazz/fusion!
