AFAIK FM Acoustics doesn't make anything that costs less than 20 or 30 thousand dollars. They would be hard to find indeed. I don't think they even advertise.

I heard a great setup in RMAF some years back with large Genesis speakers and Reimyo front end. It was for me the best sound of the rooms I visited that time.

I've heard them - they sound simply outstanding.
But the XS speakers must be used with FMA amps, they can't be used with other brands.

XS speakers are very expensive and they must be biamped with FMA amps.

IIIB uses dedicated F-10B amps and IIIB-R other FMA amps.

Prices IIIB and IIIB-R in CHF without any taxes - 100,000 and 75000.

The "R" version of the Inspiration SystemŽ, the XS-IIIB-R is
for use with the ResolutionSeries power amplifiers (e.g. for
clients who already own a Resolution Series power
    amplifier).
This version is exactly the same as the XS-IIIB but
requires a pair of additional external electronic crossovers
and a special set of cables that connect the crossovers,
the pre- and power amplifiers and the speakers. Other than
that the cabinets and transducers are precisely the same.
Low frequency limit: depending on room size and acoustics
    High frequency: 28000 Hz
    - 8 selected transducers in special enclosures
    - 2 built-in High-level crossovers
    - 2 external Low-level crossovers
    - P.I.T. interconnect cables from preamplifier to crossovers
    - 4 pairs of special speaker- and 1 pair of multicore cables
    - 8 propietary resonance eliminators
    - Complete acoustic model analyses and audilisation
    - Installation, complete calibration and fine tuning of the
    system to customer-specific listening room
    Transducers: 130 Kg
Transducers, electronics, pre- and power amplifiers and all
    cables: 200-320 Kg
    Width x Depth x Height: 43 cm x 58 cm x 112 cm
    (incl. resonance eliminators)
    Special medium-gloss champagne

Been listening to them about once a month for the last couple of years. For me, the best time to listen to these is after a heavy lunch.

    Hi Mullard,

Lobster in Sotanghon (Vermicelli) with a bit of XO sauce (Dried Scallops, chilli, and garlic) on the side sounds like a good appetizer for these
