I use the predecessor to the new model on my computer, and I like them better than my STAX ones because they are more comfortable. I tried a much more expensive pair of headphones from a competitor that will remain nameless, and that pair blew the Grados away. However, the Grados came out on top in the end because they are comfortable. Mainly, they don't make my ears hot. The others cost thousands, and sounded glorious, but I couldn't stand how they felt when I was wearing them.

That makes sense - comfort requires the right fit, and if you can't get that it's hopeless.
