A lot more convincing than a report from TMZ (!), IMHO. In any case, time will tell and given her health problems due to smoking 2 or 3 lifetimes worth of cigarettes something like this will probably be true in the not too distant future, unfortunately.

A lot of baloney surrounding Joni. Too many conflicting reports regarding her condition. I don't consider TMZ or Huff Post authoritative enough sources to believe what they have posted. All we know for sure is that she is still hospitalized for reasons that have not been publicly stated. Let's just keep hopes up that she recovers completely....

Judith Hill,featured in the film TwentyFeet From Stardom and currently on tour with Prince, has just beenadded to the line-up of artists that already include Kris Kristofferson,Joe Jackson,Patti Austin,Kurt Elling,Richard Bona,Tom Scott,Mark Isham,Laurie Antonioli,and the SFJAZZCollective. This spectacular lineup of world-class artists,along with MusicalDirectors Brian Blade, JonCowherd and an all-star backing band will interpret Joni’sgroundbreaking work.

Ticketsare currently available through sfjazz.org/jonimitchell.All proceeds go to benefitSFJAZZ artistic and education programs, including our Jazz in the Middle andJazz in Session initiatives offered free of charge to Bay Area public schools.
