I found this interesting because while they are specialists in creating video games (a few AAA) what they discuss is applicable in many way to budget CGI film making and especially their latest independent game that does not have a large budget and how to cut costs in terms of equipment/solutions/lighting/software/etc, so applicable to budget mini/independent films that seem to be a growing trend.

Surprising what one can do with a bit of thinking outside of the box, and yes Andy Serkis is involved again (was also involved with them back in 2006 for their AAA game using CGI type animation cut scenes).

I've always been amazed how animators can do this. My wife's son and daughter-in-law are both animators. Michael Loeck has worked on numerous video games and now they are working on feature film.

Oh wow,
your related to Michael Loeck?
Thanks for the link and shows high end quality, if that is the Loeck I am thinking of didn't he also work on serious big budget AAA games, and in the team on some blockbuster films?
Talented guy/team.

Cheers
