Smooth jazz bassist, Mitchell Coleman Jr., is taking funk/fusion by storm with his new debut album “Soul Searching.” I recently found his music while I was looking for something to listen to on iTunes. I found his single “Flow” and instantly become a fan. I started to look more into him and found out the he was #1 on the Wave in Cleveland. I don’t know how I didn’t find him sooner! This is his first solo album and he has teamed up with the best including veteran Motown producer Michael B. Sutton. The album plays for almost an hour. I wish it went on forever. The songs are full of passion that comes straight from his heart. I would have to say that my favorite song is “Flow” because it was the track that made me fall in love with his music. If you want to take a listen then check out his iTunes.

To get more info on him check his Facebook, Twitter and website www.MitchellColemanJr.com.
