My Analog DAC, Analog Power Base, Dual Transport power base and Universal Media Transport V is here.

Took me 3 hours to install.
playing continuously for about 3 hours.

first 20 minutes bass absent, slowly fleshing out , but not quite there yet.
sounds forward , resolution is excellent, slightly bright tops compared to my Wadia 521/571 .

what was your breakin period experience and how long till it settled?
regards

Yeah, sounds about right. I had mine on continuously (with a signal on the USB port) for 2 weeks, before exhibiting at the local show.

Alpha100, first congratulations on your purchase. My experience with the MSB stack is that the "break-in" period is fairly short; about 100-200 hours seems about right. Based on your observation that the sound was "forward", "bright", I recommend you check the Analog DAC output level if you are using a pre-amp. On my Diamond DAC the output voltage is quite high at 0db setting but is configurable. I run mine at -3db, half the output voltage, and noticed that this made a considerable improvement in sound; less "forward", much more relaxed. Check the input voltage spec on your pre-amp and adjust the Analog DAC output and see if that helps. Hope the Analog DAC has an adjustable output like the Diamond does.

Thank you Adam, Alexandre and rsorren

I am not using a preamp.
The Analog DAC output can be configured using the upgraded remote.
The sound is improving ,becoming laid back and fleshing out.
Tops have taken a slight backward roll becoming little feathery, I expect it to improve again having experienced the same in my Wadia.
Strikingly no glare or digital brightness.
Grainless has taken on a new meaning.
Running continuously for about 32 hours and counting.

150 hours have passed.
Sounding wonderful from top to bottom.
Tops are not bright and forward, midrange has body and texture, midbass just right, low bass incredible.
Hearing detail like never before and enjoyable at all volume levels with all genres irrespective whether cd or sacd.
Better than Wadia 521/571.
Very pleased with purchase.
Anxiety was unnecessary.
Thank you all.
