You I live there, and there is desert in 3 sides and the Sandia Mountains on the east. Albuquerque sits at 5000+ feet, rising up to almost 7000 ft on the outskirts. The area is shaped like a bowl, with the downtown area at the lowest elevation. This topographical arrangement is the reason for the "box", the unique recirculating wind pattern used by participants in the International Balloon Fiesta. Balloons take off, drift one direction, and a change in altitude allows them to return to their takeoff point (hopefully). The mountain crest hits almost 11,000 feet and has the world's longest aerial tram ride to the top. With the altitude, the sonoran desert climate doesn't hit the high temperatures like Phoenix and has over 300 days per year of sunshine.

I need to stop on the freeway and get a picture of the billboard where a local lawyer has a play on "Better Call Saul"!

‘Better Call Saul’ Season 2 Gets February Premiere Date

AMC’s breakout drama Better Call Saul will be back in session for Season 2 at 10 PM February 15, the cable net said today. The Breaking Bad prequel stars Bob Odenkirk as Jimmy McGill, a mostly slimy attorney who tries to go legit with a promising gig at a big law firm but is tempted to return to his scamster ways.

Better Call Saul was an out-of-the-box hit when it premiered in February, becoming the biggest series debut in cable history in the adults 18-49 demo, en route to being cable’s No. 1 new series of the season in total viewers (5.9 million), adults 18-49 (3.7 million) and adults 25-54 (3.6 million) in Live+3. On the heels of back-to-back Outstanding Drama Series wins for its predecessor, the show earned seven Emmy noms including best drama for its 10-episode first season, which wrapped in April. It also won a pair of Critics’ Choice TV Awards.

“Jimmy McGill’s journey takes surprising, left-handed turns in Season 2 of Better Call Saul,” said Peter Gould, executive producer and showrunner. “He goes to places we’d never, ever expected. As for Mike Ehrmantraut, he’s pulled deeper into a world he was sure he’d left forever.”

I must admit that my wife and I are really enjoying this season. The stories are better with less jumping back and forth in time. Better development of the characters

It's a good show, but we all know he's getting disbarred and ends up managing a Cinnabon. Probably at the hands of his brother for altering the Mesa Verde paperwork, but who knows... It's just painful watching him make all these bad decisions.

I believe you have that wrong. Did you see Breaking Bad? The Job in Cinnabon is him hiding out, timeline well after this show. Bad decisions? Pure genius.

I tend to agree although Saul practiced on the fringe of the law.

You're also correct re the time line

Season 2 ended last night. I thoroughly enjoyed this season compared to last Bit of a cliff hanger ending leading to Jimmy's disbarment

Lee,
Just saw this. Incredible but a testament that truth is stranger than fiction. I must ask- is the attorney successful in any sense of the word (financially). I already know the ethical answer.
