As soon as I saw the image of that Pear Audio turntable I was reminded of my former Nottingham Analogue Horizon SE. It has the same motor drive which has no on/off control and needs to be push started by hand. The platter also looked very similar to those designed by Tom Fletcher of N.A and it is indeed a very quiet turntable.

So I took a look at the Pear Audio Analogue website and lo and behold I find many references to Tom Fletcher on their pages. This is a Nottingham in Pear clothing me thinks!
