1. For those who have experience with a lot of windows, maybe floor to ceiling, in their listening room, do the windows cause you to lose bass, if they are behind the speaker, behind the listener, or at the side? Do curtains help here?

2. I know square rooms are bad, but what if there is a 25 * 25 ft room, but what if the system is put towards one end of the room, i.e maybe in a 25* 15 ft area on one side of the room, with the other 10 ft for some other furniture? Will that cause problems as well?

Asking as planning a new place in a year or so.

What treatments for the windows, they can't be blocked, so just curtains? Or add subs. Tough if a Planar

My neighbor, who originally owned the system I have now had it setup on his enclosed porch. Glass sliders all the way around. The Clearfields are not very low bass heavy to start with and in that room bass was lifeless. He made up several carpet covered pcs of plywood and stood them against the glass doors whenever he had a listening session.

Curtains are a good start.

Ok, that is a more extreme case of windows. Has anyone treated windows behind the speakers or the listeners coz they were losing bass, or on one side?

I have widows on one side and have fabric coated vertical blinds on them.

The typo is hilarious.

The binds reduce the loss of bass?
