I just ordered this from Amazon and it's scheduled to arrive on Monday. Unfortunately I won't be able to play it until I get settled in Calgary, but that's okay and it'll be a nice treat for when I do.

Has anyone here ordered this? If so, what are your impressions?

It was received, and as I suspected I managed to get the OOP Blue Vinyl copy, which was limited to the first 1,000 copies. My Serial # is 00273.

How did I suspect I would get the Blue vinyl of this? Well, I read the user reviews on Amazon CA and reference was made to this being the Blue vinyl release. I figured (correctly) that the remaining stock shown at the time would be on Blue vinyl as well. I was able to snag the last copy! :D

But that won't be on BLUE vinyl though. I paid $34.69 on Amazon Canada for my Blue Vinyl copy with free shipping.

It is blue vinyl from the first 1000 run..my copy off ebay. If you are referring to the next pressing run, you are correct. I would imagine it will be black vinyl. How is the album any way ?

Yes, I know the copy you bought is the Blue vinyl...you said that. I'm without a TT at the moment and will be for a short while, so I'm going to look towards you for an opinion on how the pressing is.

Will do. The critics say it's a very good album.

Just listened to the full album on YouTube and I like it well enough. Want to hear it a few more times before I opine on its place in his catalog. And yes, most critics seem to really like it.
