UB40 – Labour Of Love II - maintaining the reggae feel, admittedly not in the same class as Bob. I actually like it now compared to when I first bought it.

Me too… Didn’t like UB40 then… when I HAD to play it in the disco’s… But now in a strange way I like them a lot…

Big cheers my friend ;) !

On the SL-1200G this evening ?:

Jean-Michael Jarre - Jarre Live, at Docklands in London, released in 1989, on black vinyl at 33rpm. The concerts itself however, was performed 8 and 9 October 1988. It was then later repackaged and released as Destination Docklands. The sound is a bit restrained and bass is a bit weak… A few push on the Krell pre-amp volume control to the M-L subtowers will do it. Then raise the overall volyme and you got yourself a Jean-Michael Jarre consert in the audioroom :D !! Very Mighty !!

Mad Season - original 1995 US pressing. superb pressing and sounds wonderful. bought new in the bad ole days of the mid 90's. smug cd fanbois had been predicting the end for a few years, but be careful what one wishes for.
Luckily the music lovers won out and vinyl is still bringing joy to many.

On the SONY SCD-1 at the moment?:

The Cardigans - Long Gone Before Daylight, from March 2003, on CD…. (cus I am VERY lazy this super freezing cold day in Sweden, and don’t feel like turning vinyls).

Actually decided take a couple of days off from work, just to play music, keep the stove burning hot, enjoying life, drink hot smoking great tasting coffee…hehehe ;) .

I have showed this album here before on vinyl, but it is worth repeating as it is a very good album. Nina Persson’s voice is just enchanting, and the music is rather calm and relaxing… Enjoy !

I have both copies as well. For some reason, I prefer the CD over the LP which is very unusual for me. Maybe it's just the pressing I have. I'll have to give it another go, soon. Love the music.
