Back in the 80s, my friend worked at Linn in Glasgow. He told me that they played Biko a lot. Powerful stuff (search youtube for some live P. G. performances, like the Mandela Day at Wembley).

I saw Hugh live in S.Africa a few years ago, For some reason, i kept on thinking of Miles Davis that night and Hugh just wasn't living up to that!

Nonetheless, Hugh played in front of a live orchestra and the music that night was very enjoyable. The coal train is something else heard live.

Thanks! I remember now the tube that P.G. sings Biko. He's thanking the audience because they have sent post cards to the Government of G.B. complaining about the Apartheid regime. He's speaking to a full Wembley. He then launches into Biko, with the "business as usual" lyric. It kind of hit home to me a wee bit, as I used to attend a Friday afternoon protest outside the S.A. embassy, even if that sounds somewhat token.
