Guys,

I thought I'd post here a kind of "re-introduction", since I've been a member for a while now, but only recently came to "the other side" :)

The story is that a good friend of mine here in Brazil is moving out of the country, and asked me if I'd like to help him with his local (brazilian) audio import business.

Since I like the way he does business, and his brand lineup, I thought I'd add another business to my list, so I accepted it!

Now I'm responsible for an importer of hi-end audio gear in Brazil, called German Audio. Why this name? Well, it started with mostly german brands, but since he eventually branched out to other companies, but kept the name... And now, 5 years later, it's a little bit late to change it, as the brand is widely recognized here...

I hope to keep participating here, just as I always did!

Thanks,
Alexandre

Congrats and good luck!!! Shindo is great stuff...I stuck with my CJ in the end, but I could certainly understand the tremendous loyalty that owners have for Shindo. Have heard the Anat Ref IIs as well with Ypsilon and Boulder electronics.

flez,

Yes, the business started in Curitiba (PR), but I'm moving it to São Paulo.
Location is very important here, as importers/distributors also do direct sales, so it's much easier if you're closer to the end customers...

Shindo was one of the "goal" brands the original owner (Fabio) had in mind, when he started the business. It took a while, but he got it.
Partnered with the DeVore speakers, they're really special!

Ah, and if your latest exposure to YG was the Anat IIs, you need to check out the latest models, specially the Hailey!
