I took my kids to a kart track and the karts were all electric. On the short indoor track we could never get to top speed but boy was the comparatively massive torque a lot of fun.

I really like the i8. I don't think I can live without gas engine noise just yet. I believe its performance figures are about the same as an e46 M3. Not the fastest car out there but plenty fast for an ordinary driver like myself.

I drove the i3...its extremely quick to 50mph and will embarass many sporty cars. Beware the Soccer Mom now!
