Hi all,

Just returned from CEDIA 2014 in Denver. McIntosh showed some new products that will be released this Fall and Q1 2015

The MHP1000 headphones will ship shortly. Headphones are a collaborative effort between McIntosh and Beyer Dynamics. One nice thing is the headphones have high sensitivity and mid impedance, so you will be able to use them even with your phone!

The matching MHA100 headphone amplifier features 4 digital inputs capable of 24/192 resolution.
Includes McIntosh-designed and hand wound impedance matching autoformers to drive any headphones. It features the new Headphone Crossfeed Director (HXD) circuit which McIntosh says high quality recordings will "image like conventional speakers in your headphones, bringing new depth and spatiality to your music"

Also includes 50 watt/ch stereo amplifier to drive external speakers.

The MB100 Media Bridge streams music from internet music services like Pandora and Spotify, access to your music on your home network, with Cloud Access to back up your files and synchronize with multiple systems. There is an internal 1TG hard drive to store content. The MB100 is controlled by an app for Apple and Android devices. The technology is a collaborative effort between Autonomics and McIntosh, with McIntosh supplying its own DAC technology, and storing the operating system on a separate 64GB Solid State drive. Price is $6,000 and shipping now.

Two new power amps were shown, the MC152 Stereo amp and the MC301 monoblocks. The MC152 is rated at 150 watts/ch while the MC301 monos are 300 watts per amp. Both are housed in a 6" tall chassis and feature the stunning McIntosh meters

I saw and listened to their headphone amp at RMAF. I thought it looked and sounded great. I also listened to the new 301's, also very nice.

Yes the Mac headphone amp is very nice. Drives the Audeze headphones we have really well, and you can hear the house sound instantly...warm, smooth, detailed without it being exaggerated. Easy to listen for a long time
