I just bought the new Ryan Adams album and like it quite a lot. I prefer vinyl but I also listen to music on the train using my iPhone. I downloadedthe album using the download card that comes with most lps these days. The mp3 for this album is a "vinyl experience" version. This means that they have added clicks, pops and surface noise to the whole album. I try very hard to have very little surface noise when I listen - I buy quality pressings, treat them well, use a cleaning machine, have a nice tt and cartridge, etc. Why do I need this on my digital music? Grrrrrrrrrrr.

Does anybody like this?

Rant off...
