Who is the best dealer/distributor to call to get my Coralstone with 89hrs serviced. At some point when I was meddling behind the turntable, my shirt must have caught the cart and sheared off my entire cantilever. I want Koetsu service. Man am I pissed.

i feel your pain and can relate!!

i did a similar thing to my Lyra Olympos SL 4 years ago. i sent it back to Lyra and they rebuilt it just like new.

i still get sick just thinking about it.

remember; the sun will still come up tomorrow morning.

i would simply contact the Koetsu distributor and send it back to the factory for a complete rebuild.

It ruined my appetite today. Ironically, the 12" arm it was on now has the Olympos mono. I just listened to a side. It sounds really good. Starting to feel better.

I heard back from Pelotone, the Koetsu US distributor. My carelessness will cost me $4450.00, but the cart will be essentially new save for the stone body and platinum suspension. I get a new suspension/generator whether it's needed or not. I need to work through a dealer so it will be Larry Marcus (my Wilson dealer) in Michigan. Lesson learned. Had I kept the stylus guard on, it would never of happened.

my Olympos train-wreck cost $4k.

it took me awhile to put it in my rear view mirror......but I finally did.

I am being very careful with the Olympos (and every cart for that matter)...;)
I sucked it up, installed the Olympos mono and a Koetsu Tiger Eye today. Time to move on. The turnaround on repair is only 6-8 weeks. Not bad.

The Olympos is already blowing away my Ikeda 9TT mono and it only has 3 hours on it. Mono playback has reached a new plateau for me...that tempers the pain of the accident. :D

Yep , long sleeve shirts and turntables don't play well together. It's the game we all play, knowing what could happen if we take are eyes off the ball for a split second. My Dynavector XV-1 T cantilever hangs out like a diving board, indeed some very scary bad thoughts of what could possibly happen. I would not even consider an outside record ring clamp... too risky .
