Just returned from seeing Calvary. This is the kind of movie that Hollywood doesn't like to make. Brendan Gleason was outstanding in the lead role, whereas most of the other characters overplayed their overwritten roles. As the movie ended and the lights came on the same comment could be heard from those sitting nearby. Wow!!
Overall one of the better movies this year.
