very interesting...they have an option to ground or float...have you tried either option? Is this similar to Empress Double Crown which has a separate connection point for grounding the cable to a Tripoint or Entreq grounding box?

Thanks, Wizard! Most interesting...I think I see 4 Entreq boxes towards the back of the system...good stuff! I have seen pictures where Lincoln Chen (the Editor of Audiotechnique) also has Tripoint Troy in his home system with Siltech grounding cables.

Ll , the set are in for review at AudioTechnique HKG , will let you know if any feedback . Not sure the Empress double crown has a grounding scheme incorporated .

Thanks! Maybe you're right...I thought Audiocracks new cables were Empress...but I think they were Tara Labs something else...

What they do have is something called a Zero Ohm link , which incorporates some sort of grounding scheme . You plug your I/C into the Link , the link into your gear . Crystal has something similar called a Crystal Cable Bridge .

Yes I read a review on the Crystal bridge...unfortunately it was not a great one. Apparently, the bridge goes RCA-RCA FIRST, and the back of each RCA has essentially a receiving end for your IC RCA. So the ICA is essentially going into the bridge RCA at each end. And the bridge is supposedly taking the grounding/emi/rfi interference away from the RCA.

Interesting that the same magazine also had a technical article espousing the merits of the basic concept of creating a chassis bridge between equipment that handles electro-magnetic imbalances between the equipment.

Hi Jazz & Wizard, thanks for the great pictures!
Would love to hear any further feedback you have of the audition.
Pity that it's tested (look to be) as one IC source-to-pre only, amongst loom of Odins.
Any info on pricing/msrp, and availability of their PC and SC?
Wonder why my local dealer has not contacted - probably not got them yet.

Well this is certainly a cable that would motivate me to switch from Odin. I think it's twice the cost too, therefore I will be sticking with Odin.

Lincoln uses two Troys , one a regular Signature , the other with the Thor PC . image.jpg

Saw siltech triple crown in HK. For the ultra expensive price siltech is charging I thk workmanship of the cable is not upto mark. However a friend of mine prefer Siltech double crown to quite a few high end cables in his high end syst , very similar to Lincoln cheng 's Audiotechnique syst except Lincoln uses Tripoint troy , my friend like entreq silver tellus with Atlantis

Taralabs grandmaster evolution. Is the new top of the line Taralabs cables with dedicated grouding stations for the ic.

The RCA and XLR connectors on these cables looks very interesting....Siltech seems to have done some extra engineering here for a reason...

Two observations:
- much more solid connector end means more solid connection
- seems to have really allowed for shield grounding which it seems people are really starting to focus on

I think Tidal La Assoulata speakers will also come with separate binding posts for grounding to Tripoint/Entreq, etc.

When I inquired availability of ethernet cable last year (for use on digital equipments utilizing proprietary-link), Siltech said that it was actually easy for them to produce but just have not found an acceptably good RJ/E after-market connectors for use unless customizing one, wherein volume/demand for such do not support.
This leaves an impression of how to them plugs and terminations are just as important an equation as the metallurgy/sheathing itself ~ whole package, end-to-end matters ~ which imo should be, un/least compromised, at their prices.
