While I don't currently have connection beyond simple phone functions, I can certainly see the possibilities; convenience and function, not cost savings. This one seems to be designed to try and turn me into a Prius driver. NO THANKS!

While it doesn't have as pretty of an interface, I use something similar- Torque Pro and a bluetooth OBD 2 reader. It shows a ton of info and is kind of fun to play with if you're into that sort of thing.
