For those here who are movie buffs and who used to always watch Siskel and Ebert, this 2 hour documentary on the life of Roger Ebert is a must see

All the script and footage was done 5 months before his death


The interview with Martin Scorsese is gut wrenching

Probably the most influential movie reviewer America has ever seen (Gene Siskel IMO was a very close second)

Definitely two thumbs up, way up

What wonderful memories I have watching the two of them. If they both liked a movie, it was like the beams combining in Ghostbusters. It would have been a must see movie.

As you all know I am a huge fan of the movies. So far this year I have seen only two noteworthy films. Chef and this documentary of the life of Roger Ebert. The memories will surely leave you with a lump in your throat. The interviews with his wife and Gene Siskel's wife were gut wrenching but the one with Scorsese is epic.

Thanks for the heads-up. It does look interesting.

We just saw "A Most Wanted Man" and both of us enjoyed it. One of the better movies so far. Like a Le Carre' novel it requires a bit of thinking. I have never been a bi Phillip Seymour Hoffman fan but he delivered a fine performance.
