I'm back, at least for awhile, after a long period of (mostly) being absent from this forum. I will of course be sharing some of my current thoughts on home audio.

In some ways those comments will not be so current since I'm still not a computer audiophile--I'm still mucking around with playing back physical discs. Old dogs and new tricks, you know.

However, I especially hope to share some "historical" information from my "archives." I don't mean that this information is out of date. Just the opposite; I'll be trying to post here things I wrote elsewhere awhile back and still agree with, things that, to my mind, have stood the test of some time and continued re-evaluation as well as challenges from folks on other forums. Some of these writings go back more than three years.

Enjoy!

This is great Tom. Your writings are some of the best. I routinely see in the forums stats that people are still reading them.

Look forward to future installments.

Great to have you back. And great thread on One Classical Recording...I have it reserved in my Amazon basket. Thanks.
