Hi,
I am eyeing the above mentioned TT setup after hearing it at the Malaysian hifi show last week.
My dealer recommends a Clearaudio Stradivari V2 to round off the package. I like :
1) Mid range
2) bass
3) soundstage
in descending order.
Do you think this cart will work for me ?
This is my dealer's comment on this cart :
This cartridge comes in a wood body, it has a beautiful mid-range and does good bass. It has a similar signature approach to Benz LP-S but I do find Stradivari V2 not as "fat" sounding than Benz and hence, and more neutral. It is unlike the higher Clearaudio carts e.g. Titanium or Goldfinger, which are very explosive in sound (good for rock) but some users do find them a bit lean and too much to take
Is this true ?
Thanks.
Regards,
Joe Ling
PS : the cart at the show was a Benz Micro Ruby Z MC
