Hi there

Can anyone tell me what the approxiate measurements should be of a new Teac X2000 drive belt should be, ie, approx width and length? I'm looking at 2 'original' belts and they are both different sizes?!?, so one company is telling me porkies. If anyone know, I'd be SUPER GRATEFUL!!!!

thank you

Its industry part number is FBL 16.9 and has measurements:

.025 Inch / .6mm Thick
.330 Inch / 8.3mm Wide
16.9 Inch / 42.9cm Inside Circumference

I had one for a long time and recently sold it. Its older brother, X1000R, is more reliable to me.

The X2000R's belt has a notch because of the auto reversing mechanism. The X2000M uses two belts of different sizes. Original factory belts can still be found in Japan and can be ordered.
