Yes, sound quality is most important.
But for 2x the price of A1, I am very underwhelmed by the internal changes (or the lack of it) as shown in tose internal photos.

When one gets the ARC Ref 10 preamp at double the cost of the Ref 5, you literally get double the preamp. When you get the Paganini CDT/DAC combo over the dCS Puccini - you pay twice as much, but also basicly get two Puccinis. I can go on and on.

The diferencies between the A1 and S1 are almost purely cosmetic (both visual and in terms of BOM) and yet, the price is doubled. No wonder people start questioning their pricing policy.

Oh Ok. I'm not familiar with the brand. Are there pictures of the main board for the A1 in the link? The cap banks look like the only big change in the PS units.
