I am an enthusiast of computer audio
Especically as has been said by others that despite inherent issues with computers the fact upgrades occur to improve functionality and sound quality
So you don't have to buy a new box every six months
I love playing with Audiogate by Korg
Especially its easy interface and you can play with sample formats such as double DSD
I was pretty excited that there was a version 3 coming out by Korg to coincide with their new DSD DAC
Crushed!
No 1:You have to own the hardware - Ok fair enough I got the others for free
No2: much of its functionality such as editing has been removed just have to stick with Audiogate 2.3.3
