I wish I could help you John, but I know nothing about this unit. What about a brand new Manley Chinook?

Too expensive in Canada, unless I could find one used....and I have been looking at the used market...it is likely used I'll end up buying.

My limit is $1,500. With my setup it would be insane to go much higher.

This I understand completely.

This I don't agree with John. Better electronics will bring the most out of your system. I would never consider it to be money wasted. Plus, at some point down the road if you upgrade your cartridge, arm, or table, you will reap the benefits of the better phono section. It will benefit you now and benefit you later.

You make a valid point, and I do have an arm upgrade on my want list. Not exactly sure what I want in that regard, but I'll deal with that once I know I'm ready to move forward with it.

I'm really hoping to secure a phonostage in June/July, and I think I can.
