Hi Myles,

I am not quite sure. It is a big commitment physically in terms of shipping: 5 - 7 large crates at either 1750 lbs or 2250 depending on whether it would be MMTwoExacts or MMThreeExacts.

If you want to travel at all, there are a couple of places to hear them.

Anyone I know in my neighborhood, yet?

Is it possible to audition EA speakers in the Boston area? I asked a few years ago and got no response.

Hi Peter,

Contacting us directly is always the best way to get an answer.

We do not currently have a dealer in the Boston area. However, if you are in PA, we can setup an audition with the dealer there.

Which model are you interested in?

North of me, South of me, or Both!?

Dre

Dre,

The correct answer would be both!:D

I would say south will be first & north very soon after.

Looking forward to the upgrade. Spoke with a couple of guys that heard the early prototype & the consensus was extremely positive.
It's hard to believe a great speaker could be improved ( not really ) but it's also nice that they keep trying to push the envelope to improve their products.

We will look for you in Chicago in a couple of weeks.

It looks like I can go North (during visit to in-laws) or South (vicinity anytime) to hear them. Looking forward to it.

I'll see you in Chicago Gary. Will this be the same crew that came to visit last time? My schedule will probably be pretty full but I'm hoping I can more time to listen for enjoyment.

Dre,

Rich & I are making the trip. A couple of other friends are to meet us there. Hope we can spend some time together.

when I first heard the MM7 at the designer's home 2 years ago, there was an MM3 sitting right next to it. the difference between the MM7 and MM3 above 200hz was only the crossover......which was sitting on the floor in front of the MM7 as the designer was in the last stages of crossover design. the crossover is beautiful.

very very significant performance difference. the MMExact will be a wonderful upgrade for MM2 and MM3 owners.

Agreed! I heard the MMExact at the designers house through MM3's.... Loved the difference as I got to listen with and without the MMExact. Took the already great MM3 to new heights.

That's interesting fellas but you're both kinda painting with broad brush strokes. In what way (s) was the new MM3Exact better than it's predecessor?

I'm interested in speakers similar to the Magico Q3 and S3 in terms of sonics. Price is not as important as being an appropriate match for my small 15 X 16 X 7.5 room. When I was shopping for my last speaker and ended up with the Magico Mini 2 replacing my Eggleston Rosa, I tried to demo some EA speakers but had difficulty hearing any. Thank you for the information.

i'd say it simply is more detailed and refined. the delicacy, microdynamics, and inner texture is improved. a less processed, more open sound. more relaxed and involving.

and these issues are all positive traits of the MM3, which i consider a standard setter in these areas. the MM7/Exact simply takes it to another level. it's not subtle, it jumps out at you.

when i was at the designers home it only took about 5 seconds of a very familiar demo track to hear that difference from my MM3's. he was using my same (at that time) darTZeel electronics.
