I'm thinking of upgrading my platter bearing to the Clearaudio CMB. I was wondering if anyone here is using one and what they think of it? Lower spinning resistance? Less mechanical noise? Did you have to adjust your VTA after installation?

You may have to adjust VTA as the platter will elevate/levitate due to the magnetic opposing force. It will have lower spinning resistance and a lower noise floor compared to the traditional sintered bearing. That would be a very good upgrade for your table imo.

I would think it would be very positive for you. Silence is the loudest thing any system can do .
