I have no experience with theater style seating. In our dedicated theater, we decided not to go with the Nickelodeon Popcorn Machine in the Corner look, not that there is anything wrong with that, so we used sectional sofas and ottomans.

But, I have been in many home theater forums in my day and it seems to me that Berkline is a name that always crops up when people are building a Home Theater....

Berkline makes a very complete line of HT chairs. I see them in our Costco store all of the time :) at deeply discounted prices. Like you I did not go with HT seating as my room is not a dedicated HT but also serves for 2 channel listening. It has always been my belief that for 2 channel listening, the top of the chair should not rise above the level of the ears which could result in reflected sound from the back of the chair.

I purchased 4 of the Berkline 13175 Tangiers HT seats for my 2 Channel/Home Theater system:

They are extremely comfortable. Even Jonathan Weiss of Oswald's Mill Audio commented as to their comfort when he came to my home and demonstrated the OMA Mini horns in my Listening Room.
