I have been fortunate enough to secure a Townshend Rock V turntable in excellent condition and about 2.5 years old with an Origin Live Mk2 Encounter tone arm.
It only has the standard power supply and I may have difficulty in sourcing a Merlin Mark 3 PSU.
Can anyone share their experience or advise me on a suitable alternative to the Merlin without changing the existing motor, or would I be better advised to go for a new DC motor and external PSU and if so which should I consider.
Any suggestions would be gratefully received
