Every year I put together a collection of music to bring to the show with me. In my case, the majority of it is vinyl with maybe 10 or so SACD/CDs to go along.

In order to prime the pump, these were some of the items from past years lists:

Gatemouth Brown - Standing My Ground
Melody Gardot - My One and Only Thrill
Eva Cassidy - Songbird
Michael Hedges - Aerial Boundaries
Ray Lamontagne - Till The Sun Turns Black
Linda Ronstadt - What's New
Stevie Ray Vaughn - In Step
Sara K. - Water Falls
Charlie Byrd - The Guitar Artistry
Rossini - I'Italiana in Algeri, Sinfonia
Rickie Lee Jones - Girl at Her Volcano
Ry Cooder - Jazz
Anita Baker - Rapture
Paul Simon - Hearts and Bones
Kenny Burrell - Midnight Blue
Thorens - 125th Anniversary LP
Shelby Lynne - Just A Little Lovin'
Townshend, Lane - Rough Mix
Tyrone Brunson - Sticky Situation
Herbie Hancock - River: The Joni Letters
Sphere - Flight Path
Solomon Burke - A Change Is Gonna Come
Herbie Hancock - Future Shock

I haven't compiled my list yet but thought it would be interesting to list what we are bringing in terms of music and format to the show for (listening/evaluation/etc.)

With that in mind, Please list what you think you are bringing or what you think would be good for others to have on hand.

Happy listing,
Dre

That Thorens LP is a nice compilation disc. Lots of well recorded material in different genres. If one wants to travel light that is a good demo disc. Good music as well.

That's a lot of vinyl to tote around at a show!

That's just a partial list of titles from previous years.

I usually set a soft limit of LPs to bring at 10 and end up with 12 to 18 in my travel bag.

But! I only carry about 6-10 with me at any given time. I usually cycle through them during the show days in order to keep my selections fresh.

In 5 days, The fun begins. I'm slowly working my way through the list of LPs to bring to the show.

I'll pick a few from the previous years plus maybe 5-10 Different ones I've never brought to a show before.

How are you guys doing with your lists?

I'm packing light so I have more room to bring home new LPs from the show.

That's (partially) what my currently loaded to 105lb Pelican case shipped to Denver today is good for. Bringing home that extra vinyl or whatever else can fit in the unused space. ;)

Dre, I look forward to listening to some of your selections.

I'll be bringing my usual stash of "not the usual demo music".

One recent fabulous discovery has already been packed and shipped:
Looking forward to hearing it Gary. See you in a few days.

I better stop grabbing LPs! I'm up to 20 at the moment. Add that to my PC and some other "stuff" and I'm going to have a very heavy carry-on bag. :)

It's all good though.

Maybe I'll make the LP list when I get to the airport tomorrow morning.
