Neat video from discovery channel series "how it's made" on production of a high-end turntable. Boy these CNC machines are fun to watch as they machine the parts!
The arm looks pretty good from the materials standpoint but the rest of the table is in line with a lot of entry level/lower level tables from many popular marks, acrylic platter: what looks like an MDF plinth. No separate pulley for 45rpm so I'm assuming it's got speed control elsewhere. Not saying it might not be good, even great. Video doesn't really show much as far as tolerances go. The bearings for arm and spindle weren't shown at all. I think it did indicate some type of suspension.
