Thank you Myles. I used to love reading VTV and miss them. I could not wait for each new issue to arrive.

Vacuum Tube Valley (VTV) was a magazine produced by Charlie “C.K.” Kittleson.
The magazine had a run of 20 issues, packed full of excellent information about audio vacuum tubes, and vacuum tube equipment.
Charlie “C.K.” Kittleson sadly passed away on February 10, 2009.

Lot's of good stuff. For example, why NOS tubes are better in #19. I also liked to read their rankings of different tube types.

I have over an hour of video of Charlie, me and Jack Spears that I'll edit this winter. I've kept it in the can for a rainy day.

Thanks for the great news Myles.
I had read just a few copies, I will download them all. But first I have to remember myself that I really do not have the time to go DIY!

I would also consider mandatory for tube users the article by John Atwood about tube matching in issue 2 page 22. I have used the information given in his article to design my tube tester to measure just the parameters he considers more relevant.
