While killing time in San Francisco airport, ran across below:

This is a Studer A80RC MkII listed by Fred Thal of ATAE. I believe Bruce's affinity for A80RCs have contributed to its recent increased demand.

Fred had another A80RC 1/2" machine last month listed for BIN price at $19K.

One thing for certain, these machines would be correctly running when you get it. ;)

Fred has a inflated view of his Studers IMHO,that being said, if money wasn't a consideration,I would buy a recorder from Fred,after all he purchased one from me.:)
