This is the first year that I can recall that proof of industry affiliation is needed with the application rather than at the door when you get your badge

IIRC, this has been the case for Press registration for quite a number of years.

2013 was my first CES, I had a blast, spent most of the time in the Venetian high end rooms listening to all the speakers I had read about for many years, with some real disappointments too.

REMINDER

Registration is free through Aug 31. On Sept 1 registration will be $100.

So even if you're uncertain re attending do it anyway to avoid the $100
