The stupid US government with its lobbyists is to blame.

One of the main reasons Canada went metric [the term is "metricated"] in 1973, and literally almost overnight, is because the US said they were going to do the same, but we never did.

Canada is just like a sheep; it follows everything the USA does, and doesn't. ...Canada has no initiative on its own.
The only thing we're good at, is to stay real quiet. :b ...Say nothing, see nothing, hear nothing, and not guilty of anything.
We only know of no wrongdoing.

Well, Canada did the right thing.

I have equipment in my office made by the same company that has some metric and some English driver sizes. It is absolutely maddening.
