Was the Chouku even manufactured?

It doesn't show as a product on the Zanden website

At least the Lamm ML3 is a real product rather than a one off

This very special Zanden amp can only be ordered though Audio Exotics; however, as far as I know it has not been a one off. Pretty sure though that mister Yamada has non of these huge WE tubes available anymore. So I presume they can only be delivered with newly made tubes which are likely not as good as the ones produced by WE in the past.

Yes it does exist. I helped move one recently. It is the heaviest amp i have ever tried to move. My car suspension almost broke.o_O

Isnt it like 500lbs per channel? That is rivaling the D'Agostino Relentless which is 570lbs.

Exactly. But you would never think so from its looks. And its not easy to handle like a typical flat amplifier.
