Psychoacoustics is a very important branch of audio science. It not only relates to its obvious and well known application of compressing music, but also less known factors like how we perceive reflections in rooms. I am going to use this thread to archive as many videos as I can find on this important topic. Alas, so far it seems challenging to find good, long tutorials. So bear with me as I expand my search to find more useful videos.

This follow up video from above talks in the briefest terms how lossy audio compression such as MP3, AAC, WMA, and Dolby Digital work. Wish it was longer but is all I have for now :)
