Looks like they have corrected the prices if that was the issue...

Yep, but I've seen ARC SP3As going for 2X their original list price.

For whatever reason, the VT-50 always held more value than other amps in the VT line. Years ago, they brought around $1600 used. But $3K+ was a bit much. I haven't rechecked to see what the corrected price is, but I would think it's less than $1600.
