Room EQ Wizard is a free program for measuring room response. Despite its name, it can be an intimidating program to use the first time before someone walks you through it. These videos do that:


This one is more specific in the way it shows how to get REW to generate the parametric EQ settings for you. It is a very useful feature but next to impossible to discover how to make it work! You have to click on a line in one pane and if no one told you, you could spend forever and not find it:

This one talks about REW but then goes past it and talk about acoustics in general:
