The new Kauffman Center is spectacular. My dad has season tickets and reports that the acoustics are great. We took a tour a couple of weeks ago. The lobby is a little severe but the listening spaces are beautiful!

Why do they use 24/176.4 format? Does that convert better to DSD for their SACD's? I know (according to their website) that Channel Classics records in DSD but then converts to 24/192 rather than 24/176.4; any idea why?

Multiples of 44.1 ... easier to compute (mathematically/digitally with lesser complications).

I've had my theories but I still feel even integer conversion sounds the best when going to DSD. I've tried many samplerate converters and some do a better job at non-interger converting than others, but I just want to keep it simple.
Also when I had the PM2 comparing to other converters, I felt that 176.4 sounded better than 192.
