Saw quite a few of these at THE Show in Newport. How do these stack up to the Brinkmanns and other 10k+ TTs of the world?

I believe the full AMG setup costs around 1/3 of a real C63 AMG--or around 21k :)

Keith, this is an interesting question and I will be interested to see any responses also. I have heard the Bardo and the AMG and I think they are both great TT's. Unfortunately, I heard each TT with a different arm, cart and ancillary gear and in different rooms. So, any of my impressions would have to be tempered. I suspect that you cannot go wrong with any of them.

I've owned Goldman, Spiral, TW Acustic, Lynn, Sp10's, Basis and more. I've now run a his and her's TT setup. Mine is AMD Giro, Turbo Arm, Best Cale, and Outboard PS at Sterophile Recommended Components Class A. My wife has has SoudSmith highly modified B & O 4002 in our shared system. She plays her LPs on her TT and I play LPs on mine.

I really love this beautiful AMG Giro set up because it plays vinyl so well. BTW, it is German engineered and built. IMHO, it has my vote for best table/Arm set under $12,000.00

Listened to friend's system - full AMG and Shindo (301+Shindo SPU A). AMG was nice but the Shindo was special. I had a soup-up 401 with like 4 different SPU As so I consider myself very content of what a Garrard + SPU A system can produce. Still, the Shindo-built Garrard was an eyeopener and would be my pick over the AMG.
